Chef de Partie with over two years in fine dining.
Studying haute cuisine, food science and restaurant business at the Culinary Institute of Barcelona.
Bronze medals at the Catex Culinary Olympics and Irish Healthy Home Chef, 2023.
Looking for stages and kitchen work.
I'm a Chef de Partie with over two years experience in fine dining at Douglas Hyde Restaurant, Kilronan Castle, in Ireland. I trained across every section of the kitchen there, from starters and mains to pastry, this lead me to want to improve my skill set and decided to enroll into culinary school.
Now I'm in Barcelona, studying haute cuisine, advanced food science and restaurant business at the Culinary Institute of Barcelona.
I work best in fast, high-pressure services. I care about plating and food photography, and I'm always looking to learn new, modern or classic techniques.
Kitchens, competitions and everything in between.
A few plates I'm proud of.

I went to school at Sligo Grammar School in Ireland. Before I ever worked in a kitchen, I spent a year as an assistant coach at Boyle Community Tennis Club, running group sessions for children aged 8 to 17. It taught me how to organise a session and keep a group working together.
My first real kitchen was the Douglas Hyde Restaurant at Kilronan Castle, where I worked from 2022 to 2024 as Chef de Partie. I trained across every section, from starters and mains to pastry, cooked and handled the meat for main courses, and learned to plate under pressure during busy services.
In 2023 I entered my first competitions and came home with two bronze medals: one at the Catex Culinary Olympics for a three-course gourmet meal, and one at Irish Healthy Home Chef.
Kilronan made me want to improve my skill set, so in 2025 I moved to Barcelona to study at the Culinary Institute of Barcelona: haute cuisine first, then advanced food science and technologies, then the design, creation and strategy of restaurant businesses. In 2026 the school gave me its Courage Award.
In 2026 I volunteered as a photographer for the Buzzards Bay Coalition in New Bedford, Massachusetts.
TBD: what you want to do next, and the kind of kitchen you want to be part of.
Food, people and places, through my lens.
Alongside cooking, I take photos: plates, kitchens and the people in them. I'm also a volunteer photographer for the Buzzards Bay Coalition in New Bedford, Massachusetts.
